"I believe transitions are as important as achievements, and we’re in this liminal space where work itself has changed. Personally, I feel like I’ve met my moment right now. I feel very comfortable in this space since I’ve made my career about implementing new technologies and workflows to realize efficiencies in service of storytelling. I’m very focused on ways to be immediately effective when presented with a story. It’s why I created my workshop, the d-Stage (Design Stage) as a proving ground that integrates the physical and imagined worlds we’re building. It’s a place to workshop ideas with thoughtful inclusion of tools that keep us as close as possible to the creative work at hand. So we start early and small, with a focus on the subtleties of creative work and the chemistry of collaboration, because that informs everything that follows. The new filmmaking landscape demands we begin to reveal what's worth fighting for as soon as possible."
